Men's Cross Country Travels to Tiffin, Ohio for Second Race of the Season

WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College men's cross country team continues the season in Tiffin, Ohio this weekend. The Quakers will be competing at the Tiffleberg Invitational at Hedges Boyer Park. 

The Schedule: The races will take place later in the day with the first taking off at 5:00 PM.  

The Competition: The Quakers go head-to-head against other Division III competition. 

The Coach: Ron Combs enters his 28th season as head cross country coach at Wilmington College. A 1993 graduate of Wilmington, Combs was a member of the only cross country team to win a conference title in school history. Also the head track & field coach at the College, Combs led the Quakers to two top-10 finishes nationally with a sixth place finish at the 2002 NCAA Division III Men's Indoor Track & Field Championships and a seventh place mark at the 2004 Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships.

The Squad: The squad will be led by senior Noah Tobin and Sophomore Tate Yoder. Both Tobin and Yoder had top-10 finishes in the opening race of the season. Another Quaker duo on watch will be Gabe Moore and Eric Reynolds, who both finished in the top-50 last weekend.
