WILMINGTON, Ohio - The 2023 Wilmington College men's cross country season is right around the corner, with less than a month before the opening competition. The schedule is laced with five regular season contests as well as post-season dates.

The Quakers, under the direction of 28th year head coach Ron Combs, open the season out of state in Shelbyville, Indiana at the Grizzly Invitational on September 2nd. The Quaker men saw three individuals qualify and compete at the NCAA National Championships last season.

Following a short week, the Quakers will be back in action on September 8th in Tiffin, Ohio at the Tiffleberg Invitational. After taking eighth in 2022, the Quakers head back to the infamous All-Ohio Intercollegiate Championships that will be hosted by Cedarville University on Sept. 15.

As the season moves into October, Wilmington will see three of its biggest contests. Pre-Nationals will be hosted in Newville, Pennsylvania on Oct. 7. The weekend after, the sole home meet of the season, JennaStrong Fall Classic, will take place on Oct. 13. A two week break will roll right into the postseason on Oct. 28 for the OAC Championships in Findlay, Ohio.

Wilmington will hope to close the season at the NCAA Great Lakes Regionals in Norton, Ohio on Nov. 11, followed by the NCAA Championships in Newville, Pennsylvania on Nov.18.
