AUSTINTOWN, Ohio - Seniors Ian Molfenter and Zach Burgmeier represented the Wilmington College men's soccer contingent on the All-Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Tournament team, released shortly after the tournament's conclusion on Sunday.
Molftenter was one of the Fightin' Quakers' top offensive threats having scored four goals and assisted on another in the shortened season. Molfenter scored the game's first goal in Wilmington's 2-1 win over Capital University in an OAC Tournament quarterfinal.
Burgmeier scored three goals in 10 games as well as dishing out two assists as part of Wilmington's midfield unit.
Wilmington finished its 2021 spring season with a 7-3-1 record and a third-place finish in the OAC. The Quakers hosted and won an OAC Tournament game for the first time in 15 years and advanced to the tournament semifinals.
