WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Wilmington College women's swimming and diving team has qualified for the College Swimming Coaches of America (CSCAA)'s Scholar All-America Team Award for the fall semester that concluded last calendar year.
In order to be considered for the award, teams must carry a cumulative 3.0 grade point average (GPA) for the fall semester. During the fall of 2017, the Fightin' Quaker women boasted a 3.6 team GPA.
"The coaching staff is as excited for the team's success in the classroom as we are for the success they have in the pool. Finding a great balance is what this experience is all about. A team GPA of 3.6 takes a total team effort. We are truly proud of them!"
The women's swimming team continues its 2017-18 season with a dual meeting against Manchester University on Saturday.
