Women's Swimming Dives Back Into Competition Saturday

WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Wilmington College women's swimming team dives back into competition at 1 p.m. Saturday in a dual meet against Manchester University.

The Teams: Wilmington and Manchester. The teams met earlier this year at the Ohio Wesleyan Corbiere-Merion Invitational where Manchester came out ahead, in fourth-place, to Wilmington's fifth.

The Coaches: Trip Breen enters his 19th season as the head coach of Wilmington's men's and women's swimming teams. Breen has been named OAC Women's Coach of the Year two times. Mike Kroll is in his fourth season as head men's and women's swimming coach at Manchester.

Swimmers to Watch: Wilmington is led by a lot of young talent. In the Individual Medley and middle distance events, Macki Leon leads the team. Hannah Davis leads the sprint freestyle and butterfly events for the Fightin' Quakers, with help from teammates Samantha Glish and Hannah Houston. Margaret Hover has continually proven herself in the distance events over the course of the season. On Manchester's side, all around swimmers Emily Clark and Katie Blystone will test Wilmington.
