WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College cheerleading team will be attending the 28th annual OASSA State Cheer and Dance Championships held on February 29 and March 1 at The Ohio State University.

The Wilmington coaching staff, which was invited to the event by the OASSA Cheerleading commitee for the first time, will be recruiting high school cheerleaders from all over the state of Ohio representing all divisions. Head Coach Sheila Moore and Assistant Coach Heather Miller represent the WC contingent at the two-day event.

"This event will showcase the best of the best in our state," Moore said. "We are looking forward to meeting these young athletes."
