Wilmington announces 2016 Hall of Fame Class

The Wilmington College Hall of Fame committee is pleased to announce the Class of 2016.

The five members – Michelle (Buck) Cron, Damien Garnett, Brandon Tisdale, Siobhan Zerilla and Bruce Wasem - will be formally inducted during a luncheon during Homecoming on October 8.

Cron '04 (women's swimming) won the OAC title three times in the 100 breaststroke, two more times in the 200 breaststroke and another seven times in relays. Ultimately, she earned All-OAC honors 17 times in multiple events. She is the WC record holder in the 200 breaststroke, 200 medley relay, 200 free relay and the 400 free relay.

Garnett '00 (baseball) is a two-time All-Mideast region selection and a two-time Heartland Conference selection. He hit .400 (175 for 438) in his career with 108 runs scored, 90 RBI, seven homers and 21 stolen bases.

Tisdale '05 (football) was selected as an All-American following the 2003 and 2004 seasons, and was a four-time All-OAC performer. He earned first honors twice, and holds the school record in career sacks (44) and tackles for loss (89.5). Tisdale tallied 25.5 tackles for loss and 14.5 sacks, both single season records, in 2001.

Zerilla '05 (women's basketball) was a four-time All-OAC performer, including first team in 2005. She was named All-American following the 2004-05 season, and was a key performer on the 2004 National Championship team. Standing just 5-foot-8, Zerilla holds the school record with 1,330 rebounds, and is responsible for four of the top six single-season rebounding performances.

Wasem was a part of the Wilmington College coaching staffs from 1974 to 1991, mostly as an assistant coach for the Wilmington football teams.
