Kirk Mee NFL Celebrity Golf Tournament hits 20

The Wilmington College athletic department recently concluded the 20th year of the Wilmington College/Kirk Mee NFL Celebrity Golf Tournament at Snow Hill Country Club.

"Golf outings usually have a shelf live of five to years, and for us to celebrate the 20 years is a testament to Kirk and all of the pros that attend every year," said Wilmington College Vice President of Athletic Administration.

The team of Cincinnati Bengals legend David Fulcher, Don Gindling, Mark Lingg, Phil Weimer and Frank Schiling won the scramble with a 57.

Twenty-two former professional athletes, including 10 with ties to the Cincinnati Bengals and three with ties to the Cleveland Browns, attended the function.

The 21st annual Wilmington College/Kirk Mee NFL Celebrity Tournament is slated for Friday, May 19, 2017.
