WHEATON, IL - Senior Tricia Steffen was the first Wilmington College harrier to finish as the Fightin' Quakers finished 11th of 15 teams at the Wheaton Gil Dodds Invitational Saturday. 

Steffen (Baltimore, OH/Liberty Union) finished 37th with the time of 24:11. Freshman Christina Paskow (Felicity, OH/Felicity-Franklin) was the next WC runner to complete the 6K course, placing 62nd in the time of 25:28. Senior Veronica Burnam (New Richmond, OH/New Richmond) finished 26 seconds later with the time of 25:54.

Freshman Kylie Watson (Georgetown, OH/Georgetown) was the fourth Wilmington player, placing 72nd with the time of 26:33, while junior Mary Krebs (Kettering, OH/Alter) rounded out the scoring six seconds later – finishing 74th with the time of 26:40.

Wilmington returns to the course Saturday, September 27 at the NCAA Division III Pre-National Meet at The Golf Center at Kings Island in Mason, OH.
