Senior Sarah Murphy (West Liberty, OH/West Liberty Salem) also recorded a school record, finishing fourth in the 100 hurdles (14.97). She added a sixth place finish in the 100 (12.76).

Senior Tricia Steffen (Baltimore, OH/Liberty Union) set a PR in the 5000, placing fourth (18:18.72).

Junior Marissa Bolen (Gibsonburg, OH/Gibsonburg) recorded the highest finish of all Wilmington competitors, placing second in the shot put (12.98). Freshman Tara Karnes (Greenfield, OH/McClain) was third in the event (12.8).

"Overall it was a good weekend, building toward the conference meet," said Wilmington head coach Ron Combs. "We show a lot of improvement today on both sides. Both teams finished in the top 10, which hasn't happened at this meet in a few years."
