A familiar face will return to the Wilmington College Natatorium pool deck as Margaret Hover, a four-year member of the swimming program, transitions to the role of assistant coach beginning in the 2021-22 academic year.
Hover, a 2021 WC alumna who graduated Summa Cum Laude, competed in freestyle and relay events for the Fightin' Quakers all four years as a student-athlete. Three relay teams - 400-yard medley, 400-yard freestyle and 800-yard freestyle - that Hover took part in are currently program records. She was also involved as a lifeguard and an IT Help Desk assistant as well as being a certified swim instructor with the YMCA.
Hover resides in Grove City.
