AUSTINTOWN – Senior baseball player Brandon Arehart has been named All-Ohio Athletic Conference, the league announced today (May 12).

Arehart (Wilmington, OH/Wilmington) was the only baseball player honored, earning honorable mention honors. He was also honorable mention All-OAC in football this season.

"Brandon has a terrific second half of the season, but he was the leader all year," said Wilmington head coach Dan Cleaver. "It's an honor he deserves."

He finished the season with hits in 16 of the last 19 games, hitting .278 on the season.  Arehart started the season on a six-game hitting streak and ended the season strong, hitting .317 over the final 19 games.

Wilmington finished the season 4-30 overall, 2-16 in the OAC.
