Additionally, she monitored the systems that assist in complying with all institutional, conference and NCAA rules and regulations that govern intercollegiate athletic operations. Some of Clark's main duties included, but were not limited to the following: organizing monthly staff meetings, coordinating academic services to provide tutoring for student-athletes, certifying student-athlete eligibility and assisting the athletic director with the department's Title IX and gender equity efforts.

Prior to Brevard, Clark spent 15 years coaching women's basketball including 11 as a head coach. She most recently was the head coach at Mars Hill University (North Carolina) for three seasons. Clark managed a roster of 18 student-athletes each season, competed in a highly-competitive NCAA Division II conference and coached four All-Conference players.

Before Mars Hill, Clark had an eight-year stint as head coach at Spartanburg Methodist College (South Carolina), a junior college, from 2011-19. During Clark's tenure, every member of the women's basketball program were successfully placed to four-year institutions to further their academic careers. Additionally, all of Clark's student-athletes graduated. On the court, Spartanburg Methodist won six region championships and carried an overall record of 121-76. She mentored 21 Academic All-Americans, 21 All-Region selections and four All-Americans.

Clark was an assistant coach for four years before becoming a head coach, at both Montreat College (North Carolina) and her alma mater, Brevard. A four-year member of the program from 2003-07, Clark played for Wilson and went on to serve as his assistant coach for the 2007-08 campaign. She graduated cum laude from Brevard with a degree in exercise science and went on to earn a master's degree in athletic administration from Arkansas State University in 2020.

She resides in Wilmington.
