WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College / Kirk Mee Celebrity Golf Outing has been pushed back to August 28 due to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.
The outing, which has been held in Clinton County for 23 consecutive years, is named after Kirk Mee III, a 1961 Wilmington College graduate with honors whose career in collegaite and professional football has spanned nearly four decades. While at Wilmington, Mee lettered in football, baseball and track & field. He went on to coach at Defiance College and the University of Wisconsin before serving as a scout and assistant coach with the Washington Redskins franchise for 25 years.
