BLUFFTON – The Wilmington College volleyball team fell in straight sets (25-12, 25-14, 25-18) to Bluffton in non-conference action Friday at the Sommer Center.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Wilmington had a positive hitting percentage in just the second set.
- Junior Kennedy Harshaw (Xenia, OH/Yellow Springs) finished with a team-high five kills.
- Freshmen Amber Rox (Lawrenceburg, IN/Lawrenceburg) and Lauren Fraysier (Marion, OH/River Valley) each had four kills. Fraysier added one solo block and two block assists.
- Freshman Alyssa McKenzie (Adrian, MI/Adrian) distributed a team-high 12 assists.
- Junior Becca Harting (Farmersville, OH/Valley View) led the team with 13 digs.
WHAT'S NEXT
Wilmington (3-21 overall, 0-6 OAC) hosts Mount Union 1 p.m. Saturday in their final home game of the season. Senior Kara Short (Conover, OH/Fairlawn) will be honored prior to the game.
