DELAWARE, Ohio-- The Wilmington College women’s swimming team completed competition in the final session of the, two-day, three-session, Corbiere-Merion Invitational hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University on Sunday morning. Going into this session, the Fightin’ Quakers were fighting to get out of fifth-place and into finish fourth. Ultimately, the women were unable to surpass fourth-place Manchester University and finished in fifth-place with 359 points, 15 points behind fourth-place.
DELAWARE, Ohio-- The Wilmington College women’s swimming team competed in two sessions of the Corbiere-Merion Invitational hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University on Saturday. After the day’s events, the Fightin’ Quakers sit in fifth-place with 215 points, 100 points ahead of sixth-place and only 26 points behind fourth-place.
HIRAM, Ohio- The Wilmington College women’s swimming team competed in a non-Ohio Athletic Conference dual meet against Hiram College Saturday afternoon. Despite having competed in a sprint meet the night before, the Fightin’ Quakers came out of the gate fresh this afternoon, and won every event- the final score, Wilmington 141, Hiram 27.
WILMINGTON, Ohio- The Wilmington College women’s swimming team dove into Ohio Athletic Conference action, Friday evening, in a dual meet against Ohio Northern University. Despite large improvements in racing technique and several in-season bests, the Fightin’ Quakers fell to the Polar Bears, 203-59.
LEXINGTON, Kentucky- The Wilmington College women’s swimming team competed in a double dual meet against Transylvania University and Wittenberg University on Saturday afternoon. The Fightin’ Quakers fell to both teams, but were able to claim several event titles.
BEREA- The Wilmington College women’s swimming team opened the 2017-18 season Saturday afternoon with an OAC dual meet against Baldwin Wallace University. The first-year swimmers stepped up, tremendously, to form the majority of various strong relay teams, as well as claim individual event titles.The Fightin’ Quakers ultimately fell to Baldwin Wallace, 135-69.
