Women's Swimming to Take on Mount Union

WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Wilmington College women's swimming team is back in Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) action Saturday with a dual meet against Mount Union.

The Teams: Wilmington and Mount Union.This is the first meeting between the two teams this year. Their last meeting was at the OAC Championship Meet in February of last year where Mount Union finished ahead of Wilmington, in second-place, to Wilmington's sixth.

The Coaches: Trip Breen enters his 19th season as the head coach of Wilmington's men's and women's swimming teams. Breen has been named OAC Women's Coach of the Year two times.  Eric Mojock is in his 11th season as head men's and women's swimming coach at Mount Union.

Who to Watch: Macki Leon claimed two, individual first-place finishes at WC's last meet and will look to come out on top again in the mid-distance freestyle events. Samantha Glish, likewise, will seek to win the sprint events. Mount Union will swim All-American Dana Lautenschleger in the mid-distance to distance events and Lauren Oktavec in the backstroke events. They will also field divers.
