Brett Sadler

Brett Sadler enters his fourth season as an assistant coach with the Wilmington College softball program in 2024.

Sadler’s main responsibilities include working with Quaker hitters, defense, and recruiting. In the 2021 season, Sadler worked with Arianna Layne who was named OAC Rookie of the Year. 

Prior to Wilmington, he spent three years as the varsity head coach at Springfield High School and was named the 2019 Greater Western Ohio Conference (GWOC) Coach of the Year for leading the team to a divisional championship. Sadler also spent five years (2000-05) as varsity head coach at Springfield North High School and set a then-program record for wins in a saeason with 19.

In between high school head coaching stints, he managed the Ohio Cyclones, a travel ball organization based in Southwest Ohio. Sadler’s players went on to play at multiple colleges including Marshall University, the University of Dayton, Wright State University, and many others.


Sadler graduated from Wright State University in 1999 with a bachelor's degree in education. He has two master's degrees - education leadership from Antioch College and athletic administration from Ohio University.
