Alex Trevino enters his sixth season on the Wilmington College men's basketball coaching staff in 2024-25, and his third season as the top assistant on head coach Micah Mills staff. He spent the previous three seasons as an assistant coach before being elevated into the top assistant coach position prior to the 2022-23 season. He also serves the college as the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications.
During his first three years on the Quakers sidelines, Trevino helped coach the Quakers to berths in the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) tournament. In the 2021 OAC Tournament, Wilmington upset No. 2 Heidelberg University on the road for the first win in the postseason for the program since the 2013-14 season. Four Quakers have earned All-OAC honors during Trevino's time on staff, including Jeffery Mansfield's two First Team All-OAC honors in 2019-20 and 2020-21.
He resides in Wilmington.
