Nick Barhorst

Nick Barhost enters his second season as an assistant football coach at Wilmington College in 2021-22.

Alongside Head Coach Bryan Moore, Barhost helped navigate a unique 2021 spring season that featured two come-from-behind victories over Capital University and Otterbein University. He helped a defensive unit improve in nearly every statistical category including most notably: points allowed (41.4 to 27.6), yards allowed (438 to 309) and rushing yards allowed (197 to 86). Tavion Bryant earned the Gene Slaughter Award as the Ohio Athletic Conference's top linebacker.

Barhorst came to Wilmington upon graduation from Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) member Baldwin Wallace University. A four-year member of the Yellow Jacket program, he lettered three years and graduated from BW with a degree in political science.

He resides in Wilmington.
