The Wilmington College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee named women's basketball Brittaney Jefferson as its Player of the Week, for the period ending January 31.

Jefferson (Dayton, OH/Chaminade Julienne) averaged 22 points per game as the Fightin' Quakers went 1-1. She scored 22 points with four rebounds and two assists in Wilmington's upset of No. 13 Capital. 

In recognition of her accomplishments, she will receive a T-shirt from SAAC, and her photo and list of accomplishments will be displayed in the lobby of Hermann Court.

The Student Athlete Advisory Committee is a committee made up of student-athletes assembled to provide insight about the student-athlete experience. SAAC protects student-athlete interests and provides a positive image of student-athletes.
