Paula Stewart

Paula Stewart

Paula Stewart is in her 19th year at Wilmington College during the 2024-25 academic year. She currently serves the College's as Director of Wellness and Director of Intramurals.

She has been involved with QuakerFit and wellness during her entire tenure that includes strength training and conditioning with WC student-athletes. Stewart also spent 17 years as an assistant coach with the men's and women's swimming programs. She was a key cog to a swimming staff that has claimed Ohio Athletic Conference Coaching Staff of the Year, men's or women's, six times. Her out of pool training regime is vital to Wilmington's success.

"I love athletics and competition," said Stewart, who competes in master's swimming, triathlons, mountain biking and karate. "Our student-athletes at Wilmington love to compete as well. I try to encourage them to strive to achieve, as students, athletes and people."

Stewart also is a Spinning instructor at Get Fit in Wilmington. Stewart and her husband Kent reside in Wilmington.
