WILMINGTON, Ohio - Wilmington College men's cross country junior Simon Heys is this week's Student Athlete Advisory Commitee (SAAC) Player of the Week. 

The Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week, Heys smashed the men's cross country program record by winning the Grizzly Invitational hosted by Franklin College on Saturday. The Wilmington High School alumnus ran a time of 25:03.47 to win the race by over 20 seconds. The old WC record holder, Alek Erwin, ran his time of 25:25.34 during the 2013 season.

Wilmington heads to Wittenberg University on Friday.
