WILMINGTON, Ohio - Wilmington College men's track & field sophomore Simon Heys has been named the Student Athlete Advisory Commitee (SAAC) Player of the Week.

At the first Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) split meet of the season, Heys broke his own school record by nine seconds with a time of 14:48.68 in the 5,000-meter run. Despite finishing third in the event, Heys is currently No. 4 in NCAA Division III in that event. 

The Quakers head to Capital University this weekend.
