The Wilmington College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) named women's swimming junior Macki Leon as its Player of the Week for events played from Oct. 28 - Nov. 3.

Macki Leon won two individual events for the Fightin' Quakers at Wittenberg University - the 100-yard backstroke (1:04.34) and the 200-yard backstroke (2:18.73). She won the later by beating the field by over four seconds and out-touched Sophie Ritzenthaler of Transylvania in the former. Leon also served as the anchor of Wilmington's 200-yard freestyle relay team of Margaret Hover, Anna Endlsey and Hannah Davis that won the event with a time of 1:46.90.

The Fightin' Quakers head to Stuebenville High School for a double dual meet with Franciscan University and Hiram College this weekend.
