The Wilmington College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) named women's soccer junior Abby Spirk as its Player of the Week for events played from Sept. 23-29.

Spirk scored one goal and assisted on another as the women's soccer team shutout Transylvania University 2-0 and Defiance College 3-0.

The Fightin' Quakers open Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) play at Heidelberg University at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
