The Wilmington College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) named women's track & field senior Emma Burke as its Player of the Week for events played from Feb. 17-23.

Burke won both the 400-meter dash (1:03.88) and the 60-meter hurdles (9.53 seconds) while teammate Sidney Fields finished two spots behind in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 10.34 seconds. Burke also teamed up with Fields, Cheyenne Rhodes and Miranda Gibson won the 4-x-200-meter relay by over four seconds with a time of 1:53.2

The Fightin' Quakers, who won the Rick Meindl Invitational at Capital University over the weekend, travel to the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Indoor Track & Field Championships at Marietta College this weekend.
