WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) has named men's basketball sophomore Jeffery Mansfield as its Player of the Week for his performance from Jan. 20-26.

The Wilmington High School alumnus, averaged 25.5 points per game and over 58 percent shooting as the Fightin' Quakers defeated Muskingum University on the road and fell to the University of Mount Union at home. In the 92-84 loss to Mount Union, Mansfield poured in a career-high 41 points on 11-of-16 shooting and also broke the school's record for free throws made in a game, coverting all 19 attempts.

Wilmington hosts Ohio Northern University and heads to Heidelberg University this week.
