The Wilmington College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee named men's soccer goalkeeper Anton Niklasson as its Player of the Week, for the week ending September 15.

Niklasson recorded nine saves as Wilmington defeated Transylvania, 1-0, in overtime on September 10.

In recognition of her accomplishments, he will receive a T-shirt from SAAC, and his photo and list of accomplishments will be displayed in the lobby of Hermann Court.

The Student Athlete Advisory Committee is a committee made up of student-athletes assembled to provide insight about the student-athlete experience. SAAC protects student-athlete interests and provides a positive image of student-athletes.
