Career: Current Head Coach, Ohio Machine (Major League Lacrosse) … High School Athletic Director & Coach, Collegiate LacrosseCoach, and Professional Lacroose Coach
Career Accomplishments: Have coached at every level of lacrosse. Built Wheeling Jesuit University from scratch to a NCAA DII nationally ranked program. Build Robert Morris University from new program to NCAA DI nationally ranked. Also had the number 1 offense in the country for 2 seasons. Coached in the 2002 World Games with the Czech Republic.
With the Ohio Machine, I took over the 2nd year expansion team that was in last place and took them to 4 straight playoff appearances. Two straight championships and the Steinfeld Cup in 2017.
Personal Accomplishments: Earned teachers certificate from Wright State University upon graduation from WC. Continued education by taking Masters courses in continuing education at Robert Morris University.
Community Involvement and Accomplishments:
Lead a service trip to Guatemala City through Fields of Growth ... took 5 members of the Robert Morris University Lacrosse team on the trip ... participated in Linda’s Legacy ... the entire Archbishop Spalding Lacrosse team supported the cause during my time at Spalding ... administrate Central Ohio Youth Lacrosse League and several initiatives to grow the game in our urban and rural areas.
How did Wilmington prepare you for your career?
General trials and tribulations of college life at WC helped me grow. Whether it was in the classroom, on the field, fraternity or managing a house of nine football players!! I learned something from every experience. The care that WC had for me during my time there was incredible. I genially feel that professors, coaches and administrators cared about us. It was one of the advantages to being at a small school. Love and miss some of my conversation times with the good people of WC.
