Women's Cross Country Hosts the Tenth JennaStrong Fall Classic

WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College Women's cross-country team hosted the tenth JennaStrong Fall Classic at its home course at Wilmington College. The annual meet saw the Quakers grab 17th-place on the day. Barea College came away with the victory with a score of 133, Mount Vernon Nazarene University and St. Francis (Ind.) rounded out the top-three respectively. 

The squad had two freshman runners finish in the top-50 overall in team scoring. Hayden Setty led the way with a 35th-place finish in a time of 20:40.7 in the 5,000-meter race. Meghan Cory, the other half of the duo, placed 43rd in a time of 20:49.6. The dynamic duo have started off their careers at Wilmington in a big way. 

The Quakers head to Findlay, Ohio as postseason begins at the OAC Championships on October 28th.
