WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Wilmington College wrestling team opens the 2022-23 season at the Trine Invitational on Saturday.
The Teams: Wilmington will be joined by host Trine alongside the following institutions: Baldwin Wallace University, Cleary University, Heidelberg University, Indiana Tech, John Carroll University, Manchester University, Muskingum Community College, Olivet College, Rochester University (Michigan), Trine University and the University of Chicago.
The Coaches: Chris Basford enters his first season as Wilmington's head wrestling coach after spending the previous two seasons at Limestone University, an NCAA Division II school in South Carolina, as both an assistant coach and interim head coach. Basford led the Saints to a 10-4 dual record leading the program.
