Men's Swimming Qualifies for CSCAA Scholar All-America Team Award

WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Wilmington College men's swimming and diving team has qualified for the College Swimming Coaches of America (CSCAA)'s Scholar All-America Team Award for the fall semester that concluded last calendar year.

In order to be considered for the award, teams must carry a cumulative 3.0 grade point average (GPA) for the fall semester. During the fall of 2017, the Fightin' Quaker men boasted a 3.30 team GPA.

"The coaching staff is as excited for the team's success in the classroom as we are for the success they have in the pool," says head coach Trip Breen. "Finding a great balance is what this experience is all about. A team GPA of 3.3 takes a total team effort. We are truly proud of them!"

The men's swimming team continues its 2017-18 season with a dual meeting against the University of Mount Union on Saturday.
