PERSONAL: Zac Schmidt was born Jan. 23, 2002...the son of Douglas & Deborah Schmidt...four-year letterwinner for Head Coach Brad Davis at Eaton High School...three-time All-League honoree including once on the first team...garnered Second Team All-District honors three times...member of the Honor Roll all four years of high school...also member of the wrestling team.

MAJOR: Exercise Science (Pre-Physical Therapy)

Freshman Season (2021 SPRING): 

Attended Mount St. Joseph University.

Sophomore Season (2021 FALL): 

Appeared in three games...caught three passes for 23 yards.

Junior Season (2022): 

Started in all 10 games as a defensive back...finished second on the team in tackles with 89...tallied two sacks and intecepted a pass in WC's 52-27 triumph over Southern Virginia University on Sept. 1...Honorable Mention All-Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) selection and once named to D3football.com Team of the Week...College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District selection.

Senior Season (2023):

Appeared in all 10 games for the Quakers…Tied for third in the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) with five interceptions…Fourth in the OAC with 43 solo tackles…Sixth in the OAC with 96 total tackles and 9.6 tackles per game…Tied for sixth in the OAC with 53 tackle assists…Tied for second on the team with four pass breakups…Had two tackles for loss…Had five games with 10 or more total tackles, including making 17 against Ohio Northern University on November 11, 2023…Had two interceptions at Muskingum University on November 4, 2023…Returned six punts and one kick for 67 total all-purpose yards…Named Academic All-OAC.
