In the second game of the series, the Fightin' Quakers got the bases loaded in the seventh with one out, but a strikeout and a fly out to center field ended the threat. Wilmington, which trailed 9-6 after the game was suspended the previous day, mounted a two-out rally in the eighth that saw a passed ball and a Joey Allinder single plate two runs. Now down a run, the hosts loaded the bases with two outs in the bottom of the ninth and tied the contest as Luke Kleindl was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded. Unfortunately for Wilmington, a fielder's choice ended the inning, and the Scots struck for three runs in the top of the 10th to seal the win.

 

In game three of the series, Wilmington scored first on a Joe Legin groundout to the pitcher, but Alma answered with a two-run double from Zach Schirmer in the third. Three more Alma runs put the visitors up 4-1 in the middle of the fourth, but the Quakers' patience at the plate would be rewarded as both Gavin Perkins and Nick Silvis drew walks with the bases loaded. Another passed ball and an RBI-groundout from Caleb Scott tied the game.

 

Alma's offense was just getting started as the Scots would score multiple runs in each of the next four innings including a 7-run sixth. The game was called after seven complete innings.

 

Five Quakers finished with one hit each including a double from Jordan Turner. Alma powered out 16 hits including a 4-of-5 performance with three RBIs from lead-off hitter Jaret Koin.
