Women's Track & Field Eighth After Day One of OAC Indoor Championships

RESULTS AFTER DAY ONE

MARIETTA, Ohio - The Wilmington College women's track & field team sits in a tie for eighth place after day one the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Track & Field Championships, hosted by Marietta College on Friday evening.

Kayli Sullivan highlighted the Fightin' Quakers' individual performances with a sixth-place finish in the weight throw, hurling a mark of 46' 7 1/2". In spinting events, Emma Burke qualified for the finals of the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 8.79 seconds. 

Wiilmington's distance medley relay squad of Sydney Yontz, Burke, Katie Hughes and Milena Wahl turned in a season-best time of 13:21.45 to place fifth. 

Day two of action begins Saturday at 10 a.m.
