Volleyball suffers straight set loss

NEW CONCORD – The Wilmington College volleyball team fell in straight sets (25-17, 25-22, 25-5) to Muskingum Tuesday in Ohio Athletic Conference action.

Sophomore Catlin Pauley (Kenton, OH/Kenton) led the team with six kills on 29 attempts with just two errors, while senior Ashley Miller (Arcanum, OH/Franklin Monroe) finished with four kills on seven attempts and zero attempts.

Junior Tabby Biegler (Columbus, OH/Briggs) recorded a team-high 18 digs, two service aces and two kills on 36 attempts with three errors.

Junior Ariana Neff (Naples, FL/Gulf Coast) distributed 16 of the team's 17 assists.

Wilmington (2-25 overall, 0-8 OAC) concludes the 2014 campaign 5 p.m. Saturday at Heidelberg.
