Volleyball falls in straight sets

BEXLEY – The Wilmington College volleyball team fell to 0-4 in Ohio Athletic Conference action Tuesday, losing in straight sets to Capital, 25-19, 25-16, 25-19.

Wilmington (1-14 overall) returns to the court 11 a.m. Saturday, hosting Baldwin Wallace in OAC action.
Sophomore Tabby Biegler (Columbus, OH/Briggs) led the team with eight kills on 25 attempts and 14 digs, while junior Ashley Miller (Arcanum, OH/Franklin Monroe) added seven kills on 19 attempts.
 
Sophomore Ariana Neff (Naples, FL/Gulf Coast) dished out 19 of the team's 27 assists and added seven digs. Freshman Megan Bruns (Ft. Loramie, OH/Ft. Loramie) added 10 digs for the Fightin' Quakers.
