Ian Clark enters his first year as an assistant wrestling coach at Wilminton College in 2018-19.
Originally from Evans Mills, New York, Clark comes to Wilmington after four years as an assistant wrestling coach at The State University of New York (SUNY) Oswego. He mentored six student-athletes to finishes at the regional level as well as 16 individuals who earned All-Academic honors at the conference level. In addition, Clark helped bring in an averaging freshman class of 20 student-athletes.
Prior to SUNY Oswego, Clark spent one year as an assistant coach as his alma mater, SUNY Cortland. The Dragons finished 14-5-1 in dual meets that season as well as having three All-Americans on the roster.
Clark graduated from SUNY Cortland in 2011 with a degree in business economics.
