Wieloch earns All-OAC honors

AUSTINTOWN – Freshman goalkeeper Megan Wieloch received all-conference honors via coaches vote, the Ohio Athletic Conference announced today (May 8, 2015).

"Megan had a great first year, especially in the OAC schedule," said Wilmington head coach Brett Yenger. "She improved significantly throughout the season and other teams took notice as well. She is one of the best clearing goalies in the conference and the only freshman goalie nominated. That says a lot about her potential and her performances this year. I know she will continue to improve during her career here at Wilmington."

Wieloch (Canton, MI/Plymouth) started in four of the six conference games and recorded a save percentage of 33 percent. She played in 12 games total with seven starts due to an injury. On the season, she finished 2-6.

Wilmington concluded the season at 3-13 overall, 1-5 in the OAC. It was the first wins in school history.
