AUSTINTOWN – The Ohio Athletic Conference announced its inaugural All-OAC Women's Lacrosse team today (May 8).

Senior Sammy Koerner (Fairfield, OH/Stephen T. Badin) is the only Wilmington College player on the team, earning honorable mention laurels.  Koerner led the team with 31 goals, six assists and 37 points.

"In addition to statistics, the nominations were considered for their team contributions and presence on the field," said Wilmington College head coach Brett Yenger. "With that in mind my two nominations, seniors Rachel Gutowski and Sammy Koerner were greatly respected and admired for their play this year. Sammy earned honorable mention and Rachel was close behind her. They both received admiration from the other coaches and we got the award we deserved. I was very pleased with how all the awards turned out."

Wilmington finished the season 0-14 overall, 0-4 in the OAC.
