WOMEN'S PREVIEW: Ohio Northern

The Wilmington College women's basketball team travels to Ohio Northern 7:30 pm. Wednesday to take on the Polar Bears in Ohio Athletic Conference action. ONU won the first meeting, 69-52.

Senior forward Jordan Kimes finished with 17 points and 16 rebounds to lead the Polar Bears. Three other players, Carly Thomas (13), Kerri Beedy (13) and Karissa Steffas (11), reached double figures for a team that shot nearly 50 percent from the field.

However, Wilmington head coach Jerry Scheve puts the game plan at the feet of his players.

"This game is about us," said Scheve. "We have to take care of the basketball and execute."
