LOUISVILLE, KY – Junior Catlin Shilling was named third team All-Central Region by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.
"Catlin had a tremendous season, swinging a powerful bat and anchoring the hot corner," said head coach Beth Floyd. "I am very proud of how hard Catlin works and all that she has accomplished."
Shilling (Waverly, OH/Waverly) led the team in doubles (10), homeruns (10), slugging percentage (.777) and on-base percentage (.479). Her 10 homeruns were tied for second in the Ohio Athletic Conference.
The third baseman is also the school's all-time leader in homeruns.
Despite having the second-best earned run average in the Central Region, and earning first-team All-OAC, junior Danielle Monnier was left off the all-region team.
Wilmington finished the season with 20 victories, the most in school history. In addition, it was the first time the Lady Quakers finished with a winning record.
