Men's tennis loses to BW

BEREA – The Wilmington College men's tennis team was shutout by Baldwin-Wallace Saturday in non-conference action.

Baldwin-Wallace kicked off the match by winning all three of the doubles matches. Justin Arehart (Wilmington, OH/Wilmington) and Josh Kincaid (Loveland, OH/Goshen) fell in first doubles, 8-5, while the pair of Connor LaVelle (Athens, OH/Athens) and Cullen Corcoran (Wilmington, OH/Clinton-Massie) were defeated 8-1 in second doubles. The third doubles match was forfeited.

Arehart lost in first singles, 6-3, 6-2; LaVelle fell in second singles; Kincaid dropped a 6-2, 6-3 match in third singles; Corcoran lost 6-1, 6-0 in fourth singles and Ron Sansone (Norwood, OH/Norwood) lost in fifth singles, 6-0, 6-0.

Wilmington returns to the courts, hosting Ohio Northern 4 p.m. Tuesday.
