Nick Stifel

Nick Stifel enters his second season as an assistant coach at Wilmington College in 2023.

In his first season, Stifel aided Head Coach Cory Bucur in guiding the Quakers to a 12-6-3 overall record and the program's first appearance in an Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) championship game in 16 seasons. Seven Wilmington individuals earned All-OAC honors.

Stifel came to Wilmington from Defiance College where he spent four years as a Yellow Jacket (three as a player and one as an assistant). Alongside Head Coach Cory Bucur on the sidelines, Stifel helped guide the Yellow Jackets to one of their best seasons in school history in the fall of 2021, coming a shootout away from winning the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Tournament and qualifying for the NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Tournament. As a player, he was an Honorable Mention All-Conference honoree and team captain.

Stifel has two degrees from Defiance - a bachelor's in business administration and an MBA.
