Men's soccer hosting training clinic

Wilmington College Men's Soccer Program is hosting a Men's Soccer ID player training clinic for players 15-21 years of age on Sunday, January 11th 2015.  Players interested in attending must complete the ID Camp Registration form below and return it by January 8th by mail or email.

Registration Form

The camp will be conducted in Williams Stadium on the campus of Wilmington College. Training sessions and mini games will be played on our outdoor turf field or inside Hermann Court gymnasium if the weather prevents us from training outside.

The format for the camp will be two, 1 ½ hour training sessions. Each session will begin with a technical warm-up followed by an assortment of ball possession activities and then finishing games. The last 45 minutes of each session will be small sided (5-8 players per team) games to full size goals. Players must bring their own ball and must wear shin guards.

We will have a specific training program for Goalkeepers to include footwork drills, shot stopping activities, distribution, and handling crosses and highballs.

After the first training session, we will have a classroom presentation on the College recruiting process (All levels of NCAA/NAIA programs). Several College Coaches from nearby Colleges and Universities have been invited to observe the training and playing sessions

After the training/playing sessions are completed, all participates will be hosted for a dinner meal at the College Dining Hall in Pyle Center. Cost for the ID program is $55.00 per participant.
