Mackenzie Campbell, Women's Basketball

The Wilmington College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) named women's basketball player Mackenzie Campbell as its Player of the Week, for the period ending February 26, 2017.

Campbell (Cincinnati, OH/Turpin) led the team this week during a tournament run. In total, Campbell scored 49 points, had 18 rebounds, 2 blocks, 1 steal, and 4 assists. Her accomplishments helped the team to the title game for the first time since 2007, but ultimately the Fightin' Quakers fell to Ohio Northern.

In recognition of her accomplishments, she will receive a T-shirt from SAAC, and her photo and list of accomplishments will be displayed in Hermann Court.

The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is a committee made up of student-athletes assembled to provide insight about the student-athlete experience. SAAC protects student-athlete interests and provides a positive image of student-athletes.
