The Wilmington College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee named women’s basketball player Courtney Tucker as its Player of the Week, for the period ending November 16, 2014.

Tucker (Cincinnati, OH/Sycamore) was named the Damon’s/Hampton Inn Tip-Off Tournament Most Valuable Player after helping the Fightin’ Quakers win the tournament for the first time since 2011. She led the team with 14.0 points per game, while averaging a team-high 30 minutes, and was second on the team with six rebounds.

In recognition of her accomplishments, she will receive a T-shirt from SAAC, and her photo and list of accomplishments will be displayed in the lobby of Hermann Court.

The Student Athlete Advisory Committee is a committee made up of student-athletes assembled to provide insight about the student-athlete experience. SAAC protects student-athlete interests and provides a positive image of student-athletes.
