Pierce Burnam enters his third season as an assistant cross country coach at Wilmington College for the 2021-22 academic year.
Alongside Head Coach Ron Combs, Burnam guided the Fightin' Quakers to a sixth-place finish at the 2019 Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Championships, the highest for the program in six seasons. Additionally, the Wilmington men tallied a fifth-place finish at the 2021 OAC Outdoor Championships, the squad's best finish in a decade.
A former OAC champion hurdler and an Outdoor All-American, Burnam returns to his alma mater to coach the Fightin' Quaker hurdlers.
