Michelle Gernert enters her first year as an assistant volleyball coach at Wilmington College in 2018.
Gernert, who also the 2017 season as an assistant volleyball coach at Washington Courthouse High School, is a third grade teacher at Belle Air Intermediate School.
A four-year letter winner at Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) member Otterbein University, Gernert was a member of three Cardinals' teams to qualify for the NCAA Division III Women's Volleyball Tournament (2010, 2011, 2012). Otterbein won 26 games during each season as well as recording single-digit losses during that stretch. Gernert was also earned three varsity letters as a member of Otterbein's track & field team
She resides in Grove City.
